Sports World Against Trafficking
S.W.A.T. LEAGUE is a nonprofit (501C3 pending) organization that exists to utilize the platform and influence of sports for the purpose of eradicating human trafficking through unified initiatives that maximize impact. The mission will be accomplished by developing relationships with Sports Industry Professionals and Non-Professionals and utilizing their involvement and influence alongside the efforts of trafficking survivors and related organizations for initiatives that fall within the structure of our 4 Pillar Formula as follows: Enlighten + Educate + Engage + Empower = ERADICATE
Human trafficking is the fastest growing and most profitable crime in the world. The FBI estimates there are more than 100,000 girls (ages 9-19) being trafficked in the U.S. The average target age for girls is 13 and 12 for boys. Only an estimated 1% of victims are able to escape this life. Human trafficking impacts every race and every social demographic.

Most people have heard the term “human trafficking” and most people know that it is something bad. There is a difference though between being aware of trafficking and understanding HOW trafficking works. The biggest challenge is educating the target demographics in a way that is relatable and relevant. Through our research and proven impact, we believe that, with specific and relatable awareness and education, that approximately 70% of minors being coerced into trafficking can be eliminated within the next 5 years. This is done by reducing both the supply and the demand. We believe that the sports industry can play a major role in making this happen, and that is basis for the development of S.W.A.T. League.
