Once educated, the next step is to engage those who have been educated regarding trafficking to take steps toward making a difference. Engagement provides opportunities for schools, churches, and individuals to take the next step in getting more people involved in the movement.

1. School Leader Response Blue B Certification

This is a unique program designed to certify school leaders from within schools and from partnering school organizations as reliable and trustworthy people for children who are currently in a trafficking or abusive situation of any kind to confide in.
This initiative is designed for leaders that a victim has easy access for communication including (but not limited to):

  • School Counselors
  • School Psychologists
  • Anti-Trafficking NGO Leaders
  • FCA Directors
  • School Nurses
  • School Resource Officers
  • Church Women’s Ministry Leaders
  • Coaches

2. S.W.A.T. LEAGUE TEAM Pledge

Every student, administrator, and faculty member in every High School and Middle School will be invited to join our S.W.A.T. LEAGUE after being educated about human trafficking by pledging to never participate in human trafficking in any form. This will be in conjunction with the Professional Sports Teams and Universities in each area who are making the same pledge as a way of connecting the professional and college teams to the high school and middle school teams in a collaborative commitment.

3. S.W.A.T. LEAGUE Regional & City Wide Campaigns

We are coordinating large regional and city wide campaigns that pro and college teams will be part of. These events incorporate all of the S.W.A.T. LEAGUE collaborative partners along with local organization that are fighting trafficking in those specific areas. S.W.A.T. LEAGUE assists each community in developing a strategy to maximize their impact locally, nationally, and globally.

S.W.A.T. LEAGUE is partnering with teams to assist with large events by planning, organizing, and facilitating community wide campaign with a specific emphasis with the following organizations in each city:

  • Middle & High School Students
  • School Psychologists
  • School Nurses
  • Law Enforcement
  • School District Administrators
  • School Resource Officers
  • School Counselors
  • Universities & Colleges
  • Local Athletic Coaches
  • Foster Parent Organizations
  • Hotels & Hotel Staff
  • Local Businesses
  • Foster Care Organizations
  • Local NGOs
  • Churches

4. S.W.A.T. LEAGUE Emergency Personnel Training

Our team will conduct training in every region of impact for Emergency Personnel including Law Enforcement, Fire Department, and EMT Staff. The purpose of this training is to engage these organizations in the fight to recognize and prevent human trafficking. Fire and Rescue Training is led by S.W.A.T. LEAGUE.

5. Specific Strategies for Faith Based Organizations

We are developing specific strategies that can help bring faith based organizations to the front lines in this fight against human trafficking. We are partnered with “Shared Hope” and “Let My People Go” who are specialists in equipping churches with the tools needed to make their efforts effective. S.W.A.T. LEAGUE is also developing strategies specifically for churches that can show them how they can make a tangible impact in their community that will reduce both supply and demand and support existing victims.
